Privacy
This is how ShipCanary handles the information you give it.
Account email and a password hash are stored so you can log in. Optional test credentials for a flow are encrypted before they are saved. Public check reports store the URL, the findings, and a hash of the requester address for rate limiting — not the raw IP.
If you leave an email on a check, or you create an account, we add that address to the “ShipCanary Sign-ups” list.
Failure screenshots and console text stay in your account so the run page can show them. We do not sell that data. Billing details live at Stripe, not in this database, beyond the customer id, subscription id, plan, and status.
